Great to see Terence Blanchard in this cool venue, we had fabulous seats, excellent group of talented musicians! Such a pity the service and wait-staff are so bad, can't Yoshis get it together - too few on the floor and they're clueless, we had...continued

The tribute was very jazzy with a band playing much of Biggie's music. I wish they had played the lyrics over the band as well but it was still good. It could have been great though. My only disappointment here was that my jacket got stolen/taken...continued

The venue is nice, the show & sound system was great. The food service in the lounge where we waited before the show was very SLOW. We didn't get all our orders in time so had to cancel some of the orders. That's my only complaint.

They were the most incredible live "big band" I've ever seen. The show was great! Glad we got seated in the middle; I think we'd be deaf if we sat in the front!

Yoshi's is a wonderful place. Went to see the Claudia Quintet celebrating Kenneth Patchen's 100th birthday. Monday nights tend to be the more adventurous and experimental shows. Highly recommended.

Angie Stone was great' the venue only rated okay. Acoustics were not that great and I signed up for Goldstars "Red Velvet" program. Evidently, it means nothing on General Admission at Yoshis. We had to find our own seats along with everyone else...continued

I had never heard of Leni Stern before this offer. Decided to take a chance since the tickets were so inexpensive. She is an exceptional guitarist, and her backup band, three men from Mali and Nigeria playing various percussion, were a...continued

I took three 20 year old young men with me for exposure to music they might not usually hear. I am the mom of one of them and they enjoyed it as well. I love that Yoshi's is family friendly! so close to transportation, and reasonably priced. We...continued

Leni Stern is a fantastic muscian but does she have to sing? Masters of African Percussion are just that - masters! Loved the music.

Ruben Studdard was great. I wish he had sung more of his original music but he did explain why he couldn't all in all it was a great show! Wasn't really happy with my calamari I ordered though very chewy.

Spirited set, played to an almost full house. Great energy and amazing percussion on the "talking drum."

The audience's love for Kenny Neal was half the fun, and he took advantage of it by roaming in the audience for one number, and doing a call and response (men and women) in another song, which was wonderful. He was also great on the Mississippi...continued

The quartet was fabulous! The ensemble was fantastic, these guys have been playing together for a while, or so it seemed. There were some original "riffs", mainly on the bass, playing in the upper part of the double bass. Mr. Parker is a true...continued
