The guide on the ship was apparently limited in his knowledge of the area for he did not share much information. There is a lot of dead time on the ride--I expected to learn more. The staff on the cruise were tiding the deck, and making a lot of...continued

Very nice cruise. It was very relaxing and something different to do. I drove down to San Diego with some friends to celebrate and birthday and she loved it. Cheap and fun!!!

The cruise was nice and relaxing. I enjoyed the history of the boats on the harbor. Very family oriented. Make sure you give yourself enough time to find parking on a weekday because the cruise leaves on its scheduled time.

The perfect cruise. We took the North Bay route. Great view of the Naval base, San Diego skyline, seals on the docks, sailboats, etc. Just long enough where it didn't take up your whole day. The staff and crew were very nice to us Goldstar...continued

This was a perfect day for a cruise! The staff was very helpful and the tour information was informative and interesting. The boat is easily accessible for a wheelchair - great view from inside the boat.

This was a wonderful way to see sights of San Diego that you can only get by being on the water. Nice view of the local resorts, downtown skyline, military facility, aircrafts in action and the unexpected aquatic wildlife! Great price, no long...continued

For the north bay tour, be sure to get a place on the starboard (right) side of the boat.

Dear Hornblower,

Yes, we did enjoy the one hour cruise, plus the price was right. We wanted to have a short get-away for Spring break and we only had a limited budget. This was great.
Thank you.

A little disappointing, we thought we were going on the larger open, upper deck ship. We had a smaller ship that was enclosed with windows. It was hot and stuffy sitting in there. We stood up near the front of the boat. The guide was excellent.

I'M A NATIVE SAN DIEGAN SO I'VE BEEN ON SEVERAL OF THE HARBOR CRUISES INCLUDING THE WHALE WATCHING. THE CRUISES ARE VERY RELAXING AND INFORMATIVE. EVERYTIME I GO OUT I LEARN SOMETHING NEW. TOP RATED. AFTER THE CRUISE WE WENT DOWN TO THE USS...continued

It's a great trip for small children. Two hours would have been too long for children younger than five. You can bring your own food on board. The staff leave you alone to have fun with your friends/family. The Captain is very knowledgeable and I...continued

Went on the North Bay cruise and saw things that I have not seen in my 30+ years in San Diego. Enjoyed it a lot!

Wonderful value at the Goldstar price. Tour patter is kind of hokey, but didn't care at all. It was a beautiful hour on the water, and so relaxing. We sat, watched, and chatted, and had a great time. The crew was warm and friendly, and the...continued

This was a semi-interesting event. It was interesting, and it is a great idea for visitors or for an afternoon event. We went on the North cruise. Overall, it was good too San Diego from this point of view, but am glad we did the hour.

Well-worth the half-price ticket available on Goldstar. One hour was quite enough.
