Ever go to a play and think "it did not feel too bad but it really was"? That is unusual for me but that is my reaction to this one. It has decent momentum and acceptable dialogue, there are a few modestly funny moments, many uncomfortable and...continued

It was very good, unusual. Some music, not much. Only 3 characters in the show - back and forth between today and Mae West's career, easy to follow. W.C. Fields, even. We had good seats - NO bad seats in that little theater. I had trouble hearing...continued

The actors were great and loved how it was easy to follow the storyline with the props, lighting, etc. all playing roles.

Interesting facts about Mae's life and an idea about her charisma folded into a story about a romantic relationship between two of her fans.
Very talented actors.

Venue is lovely with not a bad seat in the place. How to describe the play......AWESOME! So well acted and just plain super entertaining. Thoroughly enjoyed out time.

I'm sorry Cynet, as you usually put on terrific plays--but I found this play boring.

This is a fun play, well-acted, well-directed. The costume changes are amazing, but the three actors are fabulous. They are all three particularly good in the smooth transitions from one character to the next. I would highly recommend this...continued

We loved, completely enjoyed, the show! The cast, especially the ever-versatile David McBean, is talented, and a great delight to watch. The Best Way to learn your history lessons! Thanks, Cygnet!

The 3 member cast gave a fabulous performance!
The lead definitely had the Mae West voice down to a tee! Thank you for an entertaining, memorable matinee performance!

We thought the costuming was good and the performers were very talented and great for their roles. Our problems came with the play itself, as it seemed like a real push to bring the story forward. There didn't seem to be much of a tale to be...continued

I was interested in the mixed reviews published on your site for the show and tried hard not to let them influence my experience. Consequently, I was able to truly enjoy the production, good acting and rather interesting tidbits of biographical...continued

The staging was nicely done - very simple but effective. The actors were all good - one of the men especially had a great voice and a very expressive face. He played a myriad of characters, including Mae's husband. At times it was a little slow...continued

Worst Cygnet show of the season. Go if you know someone in the cast; you'll love it. Otherwise you may wish for an intermission to sneak out. Argue ably one of the 5 sexiest women of film was portrayed without any of the magic of May West. More...continued

Boring amateurish "play." Walked out when it was half over and felt immediate relief LEAVING the theater.

A delightful evening. All three actors are extremely talented, but David McBean particularly stands out for his ability to play several characters with equal success.

The costumes were perfect, and the minimal sets were used with maximum effect.
