The Doobie Brothers were awesome and sounded close a you could to original recordings, Chocago lead giutar bassist not so much. When they both got on stage for the finale it was cool as could be.

Doobie Brothers still sound great but Chicago is definitely missing the voice of Peter Cetera.

Great concert however, the Pavilion's speakers were not all working properly.

Loved it. A very tight, well-rehearsed show. Terrific to hear the old (and newer) Chicago tunes. Then, in the end, when both bands played together on "25 or 6 to 4" it was amazing. Sixteen musicians, three lead guitarists trading solos - quite a...continued

We had a wonderful time. It was great to see these two bands and then to have them playing together at the end was the icing on the cake. The songs definitely brought back great memories. The venue was very well organized.

There are some things you just can't recapture. Old bands with replacement singers and band members just doesn't hack it. (When you are sitting still in your seat, you realize that what you're hearing isn't getting to you)! It seemed like only...continued

Wow! What a great idea to have these two bands team up.
The final was great
The only problem I had was the mushy sound when Chicago
took stage. Doobie's sound was excellent, but the mix went
south when Chicago's sound guys took charge. ...continued

It was a fantastic show. Doobies started the show like magic. You didn't see it coming and it was there. You were right in the middle of it without any introductions. Fans were raving from the first chord. The finale with
Chicago was out of...continued

This was my 3 concert with Chicago at Sleep Train. I don't know if it was the location of my seats, but the sound mix wasn't good. They seemed to be missing part of the band, some of the "Energy was not there".

We enjoyed this concert very much. It was nice that they began right on time. Everything about the performance was great.

Our complaints have to do with the venue, Concord Sleep Train Pavilion ... the free parking was nice and very organized...continued

Loved it when both groups played together at the end. It was so obvious how much fun they were having too with 16 performers on stage playing.

Seats were great. Didn't expect to sit so close.

The Doobies Bros. put on a good show. Chicago was so-so. Too much talking between sets. Thought the "Karoke" song was too long. Didn't sing much of their hits until the end. Enjoyed the jam...continued

Great experience: outstanding musicality, arrangements, sound; high energy. Perfect combination with Chicago and Doobie Brothers together. Finale was amazing! Like fine wine, they have all improved with age.

I had never been to this venue and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. Except for the parking, which was very confusing, the Pavillion was very nicely laid out allowing for a good view no matter where you sit. It would have been...continued

I had a great time. The seats Goldstar provided were excellent. I liked the Doobie Brothers better than Chicago, but both bands played about 5 songs together and that was great. So many good musicians playing together and sharing the stage was...continued
