Great time out there on the ocean, we saw Sea Lions, Cormorants, Herons, Pelicans, Egrets, and all before we even left the bay! Loved the Bottle-nose Dolphins that rode our bow waves, we sighted several whales, but they were elusive at first,...continued

We saw lots of whales, dolphins, sea lions and birds which is why I rated this so high. Another plus was the bottomless beverage for $5 and the nachos for $4! Negatives were no seating for a lot of people and very little indoor seating making...continued

We had a great time, saw lots of whales and dolphins. Naturalists were great and the boat staff was too. Well worth the money. Several of us did get sea sick, so you need to take precautions against this.

The crew and Natural History docents were very nice. Unfortunately no whales were to be seen. We saw many dolphins, and other marine life and birds. For a first timer the ride around the Coronado Islands and the docent information was very...continued

The ocean was calm and the boat nice. Unfortunately, it took a long time to find the whales and we only viewed them for about 30 minutes. It's a long trip, 2/3 of it travel time. To the credit of the crew they searched for whales and I think...continued

A beautiful weather, attentive boat crew and great ladies from the SD Museum of Natural History made the trip perfect. The fin/blue whale(s) we saw were amazing as were the black dolphins and sea lions.

It was a nice day out in the water. We only saw one whale in the distance. We did see about 200 dolphins though.

The crew of the Ocean Odyssey did an amazing job finding whales for us - a LOT of whales! There were three that were circling the boat and going under us for about an hour, and putting on an awe-inducing show! We also saw dolphins (common and...continued

The cruise was nice and we saw quite a few dolphins and sea lions and multiple sunfish, but no whales. I've been on this cruise before and had an amazing whale watching adventure; however, this was at the end of the season for blues and we just...continued

Good tour, saw blue and minke whales. But the boat was smaller than the last time I went out in July. This boat only had two tables in the galley, the last boat had six tables. Get there early for an inside seat.

Great cruise on H & M. Saw lots of blue whales and one large orca playing around our boat. The photo is hard to view, but there is a blue whale heading towards the left. Everyone needs a picture ID for check in.

I was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Too many people for the size of boat. The water was extremely choppy and people were getting sick all over the boat, which created a chain reaction for others to get sick. I've never gotten sick...continued

Wonderful cruise. The blue whales dove right underneath our boat. Two of them played around us for 15 minutes. A lifetime experience.

Was a great way to spend the day. Saw some dolphins at play and some blue whales. The staff was friendly, the cafe food was great and reasonably priced and the naturalist were helpful and informative. We would go again...

We did not see any whales on this trip but hundreds of dolphin, two mola mola and maybe a swordfish or shark of some kind. Day was cool and the sea air felt great. Getting a close up look at the Los Coronados Islands was a plus.

A great trip and great experience! We saw lots of dolphins, blue whales, and the best was seeing an Orca (killer whale). The Orca is quite rare to see around San Diego.

I took my parents on the trip who were in town visiting from Illinois. ...continued
