I really enjoyed the experience. The acting, singing and dancing were great. I'd forgotten how long the show is. It was 3 hours with a half hour intermission after 21/2 hours. It was too long for my eleven year old dtr, especially at night. If...continued

Great acting. Fresh, original roles created for well-established characters. Very nice. Kids a bit distracting.

Absolutely a must see! They carried the two and one half hours as if one hour had gone by. Enjoyable and well acted from start to finish! Beautiful singing, great production, worth every minute and penny!

This was my first time at a Woodminster event and I was impressed.

Parking ($5) was convienent. There was plenty of food for sale and there does not seem to be any rules against bringing in your own.

I saw the opening night performance,...continued

One of the best musicals I've seen at Woodminster, and I've been going for many years. Don't miss it.

Musical theatre at its best. Both leads were amazing, couldn't keep my eyes off of them. You know the musical, but they kept the whole thing fresh and inspiring. Be sure to dress warmly and bring a blanket because the fog will roll in!

It was a wonderful performance. The actors were really good! The singing was great and the live music was a special treat. Sitting under the stars was fun, although it got cold so bring your sleeping bags. At one point the fog rolled in to add a...continued

This is one of the best shows at Woodminster. The acting, dancing and singing were great. The only on-going problem is with the failure of wireless microphones. I have experienced one form of the problam or another at 5 shows over the last 4...continued

I've always loved this play and its music. This was an opportunity to take my granddaughter, to expose her to musical theater and to her Eastern European Jewish heritage. I liked the setting for the production (Woodmiller Amphitheater) very much...continued

If you like to picnic then I suggest you pay $10 and book a picnic table that overlooks the stage.
Their is not really a bad seat at all in the theater.
Take warm clothes we went 7-14 and temperatures were OK upto around 8-30pm then it got cold

The play was delightful. The leads were professional actors so their singing was superb! Experience enhanced by the live orchestra. Every song in this musical is soulful and memorable.

Excellent show and excellent venue if you come prepared (with blankets, arrive early for parking, etc.) Great show and especially great value from GoldStar. Thank you Goldstar-- I would never have found out about this great show without you!!

A good, classic staging of the beloved play. The actors portraying Tevya and Golde are excellent and there is a nice supporting cast of local Oakland talent. And what could be better than sitting outside drinking hot chocolate or coffee (or...continued

It is a real musical, but in a unique venue. Woodminster theater is open air amphitheater in Joaqiun Miller park in Oakland. We loved the stage, the sound quality, the cast. You have to be prepared for the evening drop in temperature and the fog.
