This was one of the best stage productions I have seen this year. The acting and singing was "exceptional".

We all LOVED it, and couldn't explain why it got such a bad review in the Washington Post.

Fantastic performances and interpretation of this classic - not sure that the Fichandler offers the best venue for show - there's just too much busyiness - when you look down at the stage you see the audience then a tremendous amount of stage...continued

Arena Stage is a great venue. Love this musical and this was a great performance. The show started at 8:00 PM and lasted until after 11:00 PM; about 20 minutes too long.

The show is very good and very enjoyable. There are a few slow moments in the play, no reflection on the production. The lead singers are excellent, the costumes very good. There were times when the dialogue was a bit too fast so difficult to...continued

A strong performance. Lead actress (Eliza) has a great voice and was outstanding. Professor Higgins was performed with great energy and the Colonel performance was highly entertaining. Eliza's father performance was a little weak as far as the...continued

Enjoyed it tremendously. The actors playing Eliza and Freddy had beautiful voices, and almost all the other actors were strong also. The only weak link was the actor playing Eliza's father, who talked his way through "Get me to the Church on...continued

The play felt dated and while the singing and dancing in the first act was terrific, the second act fell flat and dragged on interminably. Also, some of the casting was just off. The actor portraying Alfred P. Doolittle struggled with both his...continued

Well costumed and and staged. I thought the singing was exceptional especially by the leads. Sound quality wasn't always the best.

Thought we were scheduled for opening night. Turns out it was a "preview." In any event, we were notified less than 24 hours from show time that the prformance had been cancelled due to the need for more "technical" rehearsal. Huh? For MFL?

Wonderful to see this show again! Both leads are excellent, the ensemble exceptionally strong. Only weak point might be the weak singing of James Saito as Alfred Doolittle.
