The actors were great- as actors and as singers. Very funny. Loved the staging too. First Shakespeare I have ever seen so I read the story first which helps since it is spoken in Old English. For me, it was hard to understand what the actors...continued

The musical was wall performed. The blend of Shakespeare dialog and 1960s lyrics was a little odd but the music selections mixed seamlessly with the scenes.

Very entertaining production of "A Midsummer's Night's Dream"! The actors all had very good voices, and it was fun having the music of the 60's intertwined in the play!

The play was done well - the music was upbeat; We attended a preview performance so hopefully, all the missed cues will be taken care of by the time it officially opens --

To be or not be entertaining - that was the question. I didn't like Shakepeare in High School/College. I don't like it now. My 15 year old son doesn't like Shakespeare either. We went to opening night (which was sold out). If you don't like...continued

Sizzling 60's Shakespeare and YOU know ALL the words. Yes, the lovers tell their tale using songs you can remember. Who knew Shakespeare could be this much fun?! The show roars along and takes you for the ride of your life. This closes Sunday....continued

This was such a wonderful treat. The talent is astounding, and the work is very creative. The use of contemporary music with classic Shakespeare was so well done. I laughed until tears were streaming down my face at some of the scenes. Want a...continued

We saw this production last summer and it would have been 5 star had it not been for an outrageously distracting patron seated front row, center. This woman had a small dog with her and was so loud and obnoxious (imagine howling laughter,...continued

The traditional Shakespeare, with popular songs from the 60s inserted at appropriate moments---it was hysterical! Taylor Peckham was outstanding as Puck and as the Musical Director. We were so impressed and left with with big smiles on our...continued

What a jewel, a discovery, right here in Encinitas! Such a high quality production from a passionate cast and crew! I was skeptical about how mixing 60's music with traditional Shakespeare language would work, but it really was great. The music...continued

Lovely little production. I was wondering how they would make it a musical. The play is interjected with songs that emphasize the emotion of the scenes. Very well done. Great little theater too.
