Once again, the Washington Concert Opera delivered a thrilling musical experience. The singers and chorus were all excellent, but the Amina was beyond that. I felt that I finally understood what was so great about Bellini.

As usual, the Washington Concert Opera had excellent soloists, and a very good orchestra and chorus. The rarely performed opera was a delight to hear.

The lead singer was truly outstanding. These are young artists and they sang as though they have been in training for decades. They are future stars. Congratulations to the Washington Concert Opera for such an excellent production.

Orquestra + singers + libretto + music score = opera.

As operas go, la somnambula was amazing.
