A long but absorbing adaptation of the classic Dorothy Sayers mystery, well directed and acted. The largely female cast (the action takes place at a women's college at Oxford in the 1930s) has better English accents than I've heard on the town's...continued

Goldstar said the play started at 8:00pm when it actually started at 7:30pm. Luckily, the theater delayed the start so we only missed 10 minutes of the 2 hour and 20 minute performance, which was actually quite good with strong acting. T

I went to see "Chaps" at Taproot and enjoyed it so much I talked my husband into joining me to see "Gaudy Night". We are both great fans of Dorothy L. Sayers' mysteries and this was a delightful interpretation. (Read the books, though, for a...continued

Great show and very well acted. It was a cute, old school kind of show but had some modern themes that we can all relate to, especially professional women. I really enjoyed it.

The play was imaginatively staged and the actors were really good.
The only problem was that the stage adaptation by Limoncelli had some big gaps - detracted some from the movement of the plot.

Excellent job. The sets were very minimal but all that was needed. The acting was quite good. The two main characters were very, very good and completely believable. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. One note, if sitting in the balcony - make...continued

Lord Peter and Harriet were wonderfully cast. They were true to the characters in the book.
