Lovely show, fast moving. One of the male actors/singers struggled a lot with his lines but everyone else was excellent. Small theater, got very warm.

The actors were really good but the some of the skits were not finny at all. The dialogues were missing a bit of punch. This production could use better writing.

We had seen their previous show, "Shopping, The Musical" and loved it. We were sad when we heard that "Shopping" had closed. But Morrie, the writer and director of "Shopping" has another great hit with "Foodies, The Musical." Same great cast...continued

A wonderful, witty satire on the pretensions of food lovers in a city that loves food. Morris Bobrow has a long theatrical history of writing and directing musical comedies that poke fun as a way of revealing truth. The play was well acted and...continued

A fun, light-hearted, current, accurate and humorous piece about the food scene. Take a friend with you who also is into trying new restaurants and gets excited about food trucks and wine tasting events. It's a fun way to spend 80 min. And a great...continued

Even though the theater was not full, these four actors/singers gave it their all and gave the audience an entertaining experience. Kudos to each of the actors for their enthusiasm and talents. I related to all the scenes they were comically...continued

Quirky, fun, fast-paced, and entertaining with a talented cast. Deborah Russo was especially good. The theater is tiny and was uncomfortably warm, though. (The Shelton really needs to do something about the ventilation in their basement theaters.)

Saw Foodies 4/27. My husband and I agree that we don't remember laughing as much or enjoying a show as thoroughly as we did Sat. night! We've told all our friends NOT TO MISS THIS SHOW! It is an absolute knockout- 22 brilliant, hilarious vignettes...continued

The theater is small and cozy. The seats are uncomfortable and if you move at all they make creaking noises! The musical was not what I really expected. Some songs are clever and some are boring. The customs or lack there of took away from the...continued

Totally not was expected by the term "musical" - it felt very forced and awkward for most of the show. Only a few funny moments. Overall though, it just was awkward and did not make for a good time at the theater.

4.5 out of 5 starts ; )
We enjoyed it--got a lot of good laughs and self-recognition out of it. Kudos to the mature actors and actresses. Small theatre, fun and kitschy props. Pianist really held the show together, vaudeville style.
