The Space at Lyceum was a nice intimate venue, and I liked that the actors utilized the whole theater instead of just staying in front of the audience. I know there were kinks to be worked out with the sound system as it was opening night, but...continued

A lot of talent and a interesting plot brought to the stage with an alternate view of what makes us, us. The problem with the Lyceum is parking. Yes the theater validates for 4 hours of parking but that usually makes it tough to had downtown to...continued

An energetic production from a committed cast with a solid band providing the music. The scenery was functional & the choreography of both the actors & the scene changes was effective.

My only concern about this musical was that all of the...continued

Was a little all over the place. The subtitle was misleading so you kept wondering when the mid life crisis was coming. Lots of fun moments but often wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a comedic or dramatic.

Interesting premise. Wouldn't go out of my way to see it. Jane Lui who played Julie had the best voice of all.

This is a very different script, but one that certainly may hit home to many.
Some of the voices were marvelous.

I loved the story and premise. Very unique and interesting. The staging was well done and most of the performers were very professional. I especially enjoyed Jane Lui! The script could get worked on a bit, as expected with any new work.

The concept of the musical was good but the actors over-acted, the music was cliche with very little thought taken over the music and the lyrics needed work. It was like watching a middle school musical...kinda cheesey.

This was an addition to a very pleasant evening in San Diego. The staging of “John Doe” was intimate without tons of scenery. The players performed with equal scripting and story flow. I was ‘entertained’ throughout the musical. The absence of...continued

Bad writing, bad acting.I long for those Junior High years when the plays and the acting was so much better. This was cliche' after cliche' all put into a blender. The dialogue and songs were horrendous.
