This was a cool experience. Dan was wonderful and we learned a lot. I enjoyed his calm delivery style. Note: They should post the length of the tour though as it was over 4 hours long. I think we will go again and make an entire day of it.

The tour guide was a no-show. There was no tour. Almost a day later, there has been no return of my message to "Tracy" at the tour guide's office. I also still have not gotten confirmation of a refund from her or from Goldstar. AVOID this one.

The process of confirming the reservation was not as smooth as it should have been. They are hard to reach by phone and slow to respond to e-mails. However after a week, got my requested time confirmed and the tour itself conducted by Dan Chew...continued

Our guide was earnest and pleasant but very poorly informed. His response to most questions was, "I'll have to make a note to check that out." The tour was very slow paced and one participant commented, "I can't walk this slow." There was lots...continued

It was good, but really nothing you couldn't do yourself with a Lonely Planet or some other guidebook.

Dan was a great guide! Growing up in Chinatown he really had a feel for the little city within the big city. I would certainly take another tour with Dan and will be returning to Chinatown to eat at some of the restaurants he recommended.
