John Waters was great & would have earned 5 stars but the venue was totally messed up. We had to wait in line to pick our tickets up for 45 minutes. They only had 2 people-sometimes only 1-at will-call while the line snaked around the corner. On...continued

Really a miserable night. The show was scheduled for 8 p.m. & started at 8:45, after standing in a very long line for over an hour for ticketing. "Management" whoever they were, offered no apolgies, someone came out once & yelled "If you're here...continued

I absolutely LOVE John Waters, and he was definitely a joy to watch on stage. However, the missing 2 stars are for the service at the Wilshire Ebell. They were completely understaffed, and there was some sort of incredibly bad...continued

John Waters was very funny and gave a great and fun show. It seemed like he did not even pause for breathing, and the water bottle or the stool were never used.

John Waters does a one man show, somewhat stream of consciousness filled with anecdotes and personal perspectives on this wondrous holiday.

Evening started 45 minutes late. Theater is old with tight seats and no leg space. John Waters was amusing. But nothing to base a whole evening around.

The will-call was a crazy slow-moving long line.
Didn't use it but the valet was a cluster****.
The show started 1 hour late.
The sound was awful and the performance was hurried and phoned in.
After 10 minutes we realized it wasn't going...continued

The monologue was fine (not great) but mar'd by an amatuer level sound system making it hard to hear JW.

Unfortunately John came on close to 9pm, the seats at the Ebell are very uncomfortable so by the time the show got started I was a little cranky.
He was funny as only John can be and if the sound had been better I might have caught a few...continued

It is a one man stand up act. I guess if you are a die hard fan then you may like it. I personally did not care for the show. Don't think it was worth the money I spent. The crowd of course is always interesting.

This was a great show! John Waters tells some great stories about Christmas past and hilarious suggestions for Christmas present. It's all the great things you love about J.W. told by J.W.

John Waters was very good, funny and always surprising, although the entire audience knew what to expect. An excellent show, marred by a nearly one hour delay caused by the (Goldstar) ticketing
