I was generally disappointed in this show, having seen a much smaller, more successful production last year at the Met, which is a 99 seat theatre. I think the director has made serious mistakes by cutting certain numbers to focus mainly on the...continued

Ugh. If I could have escaped this travesty of a production before intermission without disruption I would have. The play is just B A D. The singers give it their all and some of the lyrics are quite clever, but the staging is boring, you couldn't...continued

There was truly not a redeemable actor, moment, song, piece of direction or set in this complete travesty. It was simply atrocious. If you read my other reviews you'll see I'm mostly complimentary, so you can believe me on this one. The book,...continued

It was hard to get into the storyline because most of the dialogue was sung instead of having appropriate parts sung. Deborah Cox was great and you could clearly understand her words as she sung. The male lead Dr. Jekyll/Hyde was hard to...continued

Deborah Cox had a beautiful voice...but really...talk about overacting and horrible voice with Constantine. What were the producers thinking???

Beautiful! The voices were not of this world. Ms. Cox left an impression with her clear tones of music.

In all of my yrs of going to the theater, I have disliked some shows but I don't remember ever hating a show as I did this one. About 200-22 yrs ago a DC of J&H was issued with Colin Wilkinson and Linda Eder and it was spectacular.Get it, listen...continued

Saw the Valentine's Day performance. This wasn't sold out! There were many better seats available than what Goldstar gave us (Mezz Row G). This rendition of Jekyll & Hyde was so-so. Deborah Cox was by far the better singer/actor than American Idol...continued

If you have never seen Jekyll and Hyde before then you will enjoy it. However, if you saw the original or NY touring company you will be dissapointed. Constantine singing was very pop and screaming and shrill and didn't fit the part at all. The...continued

This was a huge disappointment! Knowing and loving the original Broadway version for the beauty of its melodies and clever, word painting orchestration, this re-written rock version was just plain awful! The whole thing is changed and for the...continued

Did not like the music, the libretto repetitive and forgettable, lots of screaming, One good song- "Bring On The Men"!

DARK & BORING. Constantine Maroulis was excellent. Other actors also portrayed their parts well. Musical numbers were not memorable or even enjoyable at all just very loud making it hard to understand. Our party sat in the first 10 rows of the...continued

Some talented performers being wasted in a horrible play. Boring, disjointed. Two people in front of me dosed off in Act I woke up for intermission, then left. Two people in my row spent most of the second Act on their Iphones. I envied them - I...continued

We left at intermission. Sound was terrible. I have seen much better shows such as PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and LES MISERABLES. I felt like I was watching a segment of AMERICAN IDOL, never believed any of these characters. Cannot recommend this show.

In a word: DREADFUL!
Intermission couldn't come fast enough...needless to say, I didn't return for the 2nd act.
Without question, this will be the worst show I will have seen in 2013!

Unfortunately Constantine had some problems. His accent was not even close. His voice as Hyde was better than as Jekyll but was blown away by the women in the musical.

I liked the plot line and its twist. I hate that now every artistic version of something has to have a woman enjoying pain. The orchestra was WAY too loud, as I couldn't clearly hear the falsetto key everything was in. Deborah Cox sang! The...continued

Good theater - both leads have excellent voices. One "Alice Cooper"ish scene was a little over the top, but overall a great show.
