The Joffrey Ballet's The Rite of Spring at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion Reviews & Ratings
Loved it - though loved it more when originally performed by Joffrey in New York City some thirty years ago.
Was not too happy with my seat though.
I liked the first and second act. The third act "rite of spring" I did not like. Those Indian costumes totally ruined the show.report as inappropriate
Excellent dancing. The Rite of Spring was interesting but a little dated. The real star of the evening was the last duet in After the Rain. Wonderful!report as inappropriate
I saw this company perform this ballet in L.A. back in the 80s and was blown away by it. It was no less impressive this time. Not to be missed!report as inappropriate
I was totally mermorized by the first half. The most beautiful fluid
wonderful experience. The last half while my husband loved it I was not
as excited as he was about it.
I'm so happy that we attended.report as inappropriate
