Clybourne Park: Tony Award-Winning Comedy-Drama From San Diego Rep Reviews & Ratings
Read the play last year and was anxious to see it played out. It was outstanding and one of the best performances I've seen at the rep.report as inappropriate
1959 portion of the show dragged and there was much too much conversation about "ice cream" and not enough about why the family was moving or about the death of their son.
2009 portion was very entertaining.report as inappropriate
I thought the cast did a great job and it was totally an enjoyable experience!report as inappropriate
The subject matter is as timely today as it was in 1959.report as inappropriate
The acting was great! The script, less so. The first act had a lot to say, and did it well. I felt like the second act completely lost focus as to what it was trying to say.report as inappropriate
Great show and terrific casting. One thing I don't care about with the Lyceum, and not most other venues: they tend to give Goldstar crappy back of the theater tickets, even when it's not that full.report as inappropriate
Poor acting, directing. Very disappointed.report as inappropriate
Irritating & disturbing content, good acting.report as inappropriate
This play was advertised as a comedy but it wasn't very funny. It was thought-provoking about the subject of racism, but was more of a drama than a comedy. So, if you're looking for a comedy, this is not it.report as inappropriate
This play was well acted and quite relevant.report as inappropriate
I loved this play. The acting was excellent and sets beautiful. Wish it had continued into a third act.report as inappropriate
Strong cast, well directed, clever playreport as inappropriate
OK, had its moments, but would not recommend to friends.
Can't quite believe it won all those awards... seemed like a high school play.
