Good, a lot of entertainment for the price. I found show, or production, less than spellbinding considering the themes of madness and Hollywood surrealism with which it deals. At end of show lighting helped a little better to focus when Norma was...continued

Christine Sherrill is scintillating, captivating, and sensational as Norma Desmond.

Singing voices were OK and a couple of good songs but most were very
non-memorable. Couldn't really connect with most of the characters.
Certainly not Weber's best musical.

A little comedy, a lot of drama. The first few music numbers were a little difficult to follow so if you don't know the underlying story you will be a bit lost. The music, singing and acting were first rate, as usual. The second act pulls it...continued

Great singing, great casting, everyone is upbeat and very energetic. This show has some surprisingly good updated touches to keep it from being a tired old show. Norma Desmond should have looked a little older, although the script said she was a...continued

The production was phenomenal, the story/book is meh. The actors were flawless and Christine Sherrill was INSANE (in the best way possible) as Norma. Her voice is spectacular, as were Don Richards and Will Ray as Max and Joe. Every member of the...continued

Sunset Boulevard has a little darker tone to it but I thought the music was enchanting. The two lead actors were excellent both in the singing and the acting.

Drury Lane always comes through. All the actors were outstanding (both acting and singing). The sets were really well done, as always. Can't say I found the music/songs all that great; nothing really memorable although Christine Sherril sung...continued

I love the treatment and attention to details that Drury Lane lavishes upon their productions. Norma Desmond was fabulous as was Joe & Max

As always, great performers at Drury Lane Theatre(OakBrook Terrace). Nice size theatre. Good theatre sets for each production. Adequate free parking(no reason to go into the city to be taken advantage of).

Good casting, directing, acting, music, staging, and costuming. All very accomplised actors and actresses. I was just a little disappointed at times with Christine Sherill's (Norma) singing. However, in her defense, some of the songs were very...continued

The performance was very good; the play, itself, kind of dated. I should have known better, but I was curious. It was unsettling listening to dialog sung instead of spoken.

Sunset BOULevard! What can I say? They did a great job with this film noir-turned musical. The leads all sang beautifully and they sounded great in Drury Lane's theater.

Fine retelling of the Norma Desmond story. Loved the operatic voices, and thought the sets were tremendously creative, especially the headlines and film montages. But the star of the show, of course, was that gorgeous car!

Good production with great actors. I've been to countless musicals and thought the acting was some of the best I've seen in a smaller theater. The lead actress was phenomenal. I didn't really care for the music, though. It just wasn't very catchy...continued
