I guess i really didnt know much about this play except that it was famous. I thought it moved kind of slow and i didnt like that every word was sung (except for a few lines) the acting and singing was really good though!

The production was very well done, but the story line itself is very dark - so I can't say I loved it.

venue is old and old school, overdecorated, dated and tired - the performance was good, the voices very powerful. Direction was as bombastic as the materical required - the show is classic Andrew Lloyd Webber - the music is kind of derivative of...continued

Drury Lane's musicals are always packed with talent, and they are therefore worth seeing. Sunset Boulevard, which I had never seen before except for the original film noir movie, from which this musical is derived, is quite a dark story, and...continued

Not really a score you will be humming the next day, but the performances and production were great. Faithful to the story in the movie.

The actors were all very well cast and very talented. The first act was 1 and 1/2 hours long and very tedious. There were too many songs that were over-produced and unnecessary. The second act was 1 hour long and very enjoyable. On the whole, it...continued

I was a little nervous after reading some mixed reviews but we thoroughly enjoyed this show. For those who are not familiar with the play, this is darker material than Broadway often features and certainly does not have a happy ending but for...continued

I love live theatre and the Drury Lane is a great place for that. Sunset Boulevard was done very well. I liked the way the space was used. The talent was excellent. I gave them all a 10. It was completely different from what the last 2...continued

The singing was gorgeous as was the scenery, but the first act was slow. The second was very good. Not one of Drury Lanes best plays.

We went on opening night. We had seats all the way to one side of the audience, so it was a little hard to see everything going on. However, the sound was great and so was the singing. But it was more like an opera than a musical. Almost...continued

Great musical based on the screen play from the 50's. Excellent venue and performance was wonderful. This was our first time to Drury Lane and we will go again!

I'm a bit of a stickler for costuming and the men's suits looked like the came from Men's Wearhouse...there was nothing "period" about them. That might be easy enough to forgive if everything else had been spot on, but while it was well sung, it...continued

Show was excellent especially seeing it the night before the Oscars. Acting very professional. Seats were great ... Drury Lane is a very fine venue for a show.
