Risqué British Farce What the Butler Saw at Morgan-Wixson Theatre Reviews & Ratings
Well done by Morgan-Wixson, as usual. Joe Orton wrote this comedy in 1966 yet the satire rings true today, especially his take on the medical establishment, the government, religion and, of course, sex.report as inappropriate
very ridiculous and very funny...we really enjoyed the show!report as inappropriate
Good work by all actors at pacing. Nice set & costumes. Director held things together well. One problem was that the stage was too big for this show, as was the set. Overall, a good time was had by all.report as inappropriate
Hilarious!report as inappropriate
I liked the play, but my husband had a difficult time with the accents of the cast.report as inappropriate
Very good play. Keeps you laughing in this traditional farce. Venue is very nice, established theater.report as inappropriate
could not attend, gave tickets away to friendsreport as inappropriate
The cast was great and really gave it their best, but the show fell short...to say it nicely. British humor is not everyone's "cup of tea," and it certaintly wasn't for this crowd. We made it through Act 1 without a single laugh. Ouch!report as inappropriate
Did not find it very funny. Seats were on the side but OK. Small theater so not really a bad seat anywhere. Parking easy at a nearby city parking lot.report as inappropriate
Terrible in every way.report as inappropriate
Theatre was too warm even for an evening show.
Plot was confusing. Had nothing to do with a "Butler".
Acting was subpar except for the actor playing the constable.
Almost walked out at intermission
