It was okay at best. I'm not sure why this show got such rave reviews, I was totally un-impressed. I found the English/Chinese subtitles annoying. The show seemed to drag on and on. This certainly is NOT your usual "musical theatre."

While the story concept is very impressive, the execution of the story is boring, over dramatized and left me with no feelings toward the characters as they were portrayed. Julius Ahn is a fine actor and talented singer, but is forced to stretch...continued

It's not a musical as much as it is an opera, so bear that in mind. Though some of the melodies are lovely, the music is not usually about melody - it's more of an operatic recitative. Theatrical and sincere, but ultimately lacking.

I liked this show but I I was having to work to stay awake not due to the performers but my own tiredness. I also am hearing impaired and missed I would think about 50-75% of the lyrics which was a nuisance. I wished that they had just had...continued

I bought $10 tickets for the balconey, and ended up in the second row in orchestra, so I was pleasantly surprised before the show started. Then I was even more pleasantly surprised by a totally unusual and thought provoking performance...continued

Outstanding in every way: performance, music, concept, and production. It's a heartfelt, compelling story told with intensity AND wit. The set is wondrous. I'd love to have a recording of the completely sung story to hear again and again....continued

Excellent voices, acting. Food for thought on immigration. In fact "stuck in the elevator" is one big metaphor for the situation of undocumented workers in this country . Creative staging, interesting characters. The musical numbers were so...continued

Would have enjoyed it more if the super titles were in English instead of Chinese! The majority of the audience are not well versed in reading Chinese Characters. That said, the cast was quite good, voices was adequate. storyline believable.

Ugh! I felt stuck for what seemed like more than the 81 hours the delivery guy was stuck in the elevator. I work in this industry and hate to give bad reviews, but honestly I was struggling at the end to come up with a lot of niceties to say about...continued

This is the third Goldstar event I have attended. I loved it! All of the events have been a unique experience. My grandson, who is 17, attended with me and he really liked it as well. It is incredible to see how much they do with so little...one...continued

Some parts flew and others fell, a unique concept, and the lead singer's voice was very enjoyable.

Thrilling theater! I would call it an operetta. All the equity actors had trained voices and were fantastic. The sets, music and direction were all of a piece. It was probably the most innovative theater we have seen in the past few years.

I don't recommend this show. The plot and the fact that it was based on a real event piqued my interest, but the show was disappointing to me. The 81 minute show of the 81 hour event fell flat. It was difficult to hear much of the lyrics sung by...continued

Very unusual. Some dialog in the beginning was hard to understand. Before viewing I wondered how someone stuck in an elevator was going to play out. A lot of surprises; an "out of box" experience

Uneven: Excellent singing and acting by Julius Ahn (lead), but some of the other acting was clumsy. Some songs were memorable, but others were forgettable, and sound system had audible hum and poor clarity. Staging was very good except projections...continued
