Wow, if you are looking for something that's thought-provoking as well as fun and different, you need to see this show. There were some intense moments, poignant ones, and outrageously funny ones. This show provided insight into the life of an...continued

A man trapped in a old, run-down elevator, sound boring? This production is anything but. In this lively, creative production, you'll travel the world, and meet many colorful souls. I loved it and am a more aware and compassionate person!

Ambitious trying to make the center of action one man in an elevator. Appreciate the challenge, but the show needs work. Performances great.

Excellent venue! Stuck Elevator is the best play I've seen all year. Clever, tenacious, and absolutely true to an immigrants mind-set and worry for deportation. The combination of musical and creative opera lends to an all star performance.

Great production, worth seeing. Theater is just a short walk from BART. Thanks to Goldstar for making tickets available.

I think the story is far more interesting then the play. The play was a litle monotonous, with the songs sounding a lot alike. The singing and harmonizing and actors were good but the play was a little bit of a snoozer. I would have liked it...continued

The seats were not all that great--too far over to the left side!!! Wish you had
a way of showing a seating chart to show where the available seats are located.
We did enjoy the performance.

This musical cleverly addresses immigration, racism, loneliness, and pride. Though the protagonist is Chinese, the emotions apply to all people.

Wonderful show. Brilliant performance and great voices from all actors. Very telling expression of the immigrant experience, which any immigrat ethnic group can relate to. Pleasantly surprised to have found a much better show that I had anticipated.

Bold, thought-provoking, poignant musical with creative staging, great singing and acting. Though there are touches of humor, this is not light entertainment--it is provocative and enlightening about the immigrant experience. Goldstar orchestra...continued

Even though the actors had great voices, the material they had to work with was lacking. The potential for a great drama was there, but it felt flat, almost painful to watch at times. There were a couple of very good songs... Literally a couple....continued

Interesting the way all the music was weaved into the theme of the delivery man being stuck in the elevator as it deals with the bigger issue of what it means to be an immigrant in the US.
