This production was very entertaining and enjoyable. Our Goldstar seats were also great(2nd row in the center section) which gave us an up-close intimate theater experience.

The play was lovely and excellent! I highly recommend seeing it if you're an Austen fan. I especially enjoyed the liberal use of Austen's own language, which is so clever. This is one of my favorite plays from the years I've been going to San Jose...continued

Wonderful production. The multi-talented cast switches among their various characters with ease. The adaptation really has the "flavor" of Austen. See it now.

I took my granddaughter and daughter-in-law and we all enjoyed the play very much. Everyone was delightful in their role/roles. I loved how they did so much with so little in the way of background/props. The carriage rides were fun and the one...continued

The performance was excellent! Our seats the best! We were hungry before we arrive and right around the corner was a very tasty restaurant! Everything was great! Thank you so much Gold Star!

Enjoyed the performance. The Austen prose translates very easily into witty dialogue. There were at least 2 grammatical non-Austen-like errors:..."between him (not "he") & me...".. and another one that required "me" instead of "I" somewhere later...continued

The show was good. The one person acting for multiple roles makes the show a bit confusion. Parking is really inconvenient. I wasn't able to find street parking and ended up paying $12 for garage parking!

A superb performance! I am a Jane Austen fan and the adaptation of "Persuasion" was wonderful and the artists were excellent. Maryssa Wanlass was especially good in her role as Anne Elliot. I enjoyed the intimacy of the theater and found the...continued

Great venue. Loved the adaptation which balanced the love story with the humor so the uninitiated would still have a lovely evening (me), while the dedicated Austenite (many of my friends) would enjoy themselves. Persuasion is not an easy...continued

It was more satisfying experience than I thought it would be. Ms Wanlass's Anne Elliot was very "persuadsive" as a role and I enjoyed it. I hoped that Mr Springhorn Jr.'s Captain Wentworth would be more persuasive, but it wasn't. A little...continued

My husband humored me by going with me to the Stage Theatre's Persuasion, since it is I who love everything by Jane Austen. Afterward, he raved about all aspects of the production, especially playwright Jennifer Le Blanc's adaptation. I agree with...continued
