Do not miss this show! It is a must-see. Wonderful story and beautiful music exquisitely played by the grand-daughter of a couple who died at Auschwitz. A great tribute to the bravery and spirit of people who live through horrible events.

This is a beautiful, emotional play/concert. It is the true story of the pianist's mother who was one of the children sent out of Austria on the Kindertransport to England before the Nazis closed all the borders. Mona retells her mothers story...continued

A moving story of a young Jewish woman's determination to overcome obstacles and realize her musical dream in the face of the Holocaust, narrated by her daughter Mona Golabek and entwined with Ms Golabek's magnificent piano playing.

This was a deeply moving concert/play experience--my husband and I both agreed that we would never forget it. Mona Golubek is a great pianist in her own right, but to hear her tell the story of her mother's life, interspersed with such beautiful...continued

Couldn't believe the fantastic seats we got on Goldstar! Great story and very moving show. Only criticism was that the characters were not always distinct--couldn't tell who was talking, male or female, and who was British or another accent. ...continued

One of the most powerful performances in a one-person show that I've experienced in ages! The combination of narrative and concert-level piano virtuosity was positively masterful!
