“All children, except one, grow up. They soon know that they will grow up, and the way Wendy knew was this. One day when she was two years old she was playing in a garden, and she plucked another flower and ran with it to her mother. I suppose she...continued

False advertising. This is a nicely done straight up Peter Pan. Children in attendance enjoyed it - how "dark" and "new" can it be?? We left at the interval. Go only if you have kids or just love this story. There's nothing wrong with the...continued

A wonderful production. A rather dark telling of the Peter Pan story with great performances masterfully staged in such a small space.

One of the BEST shows in town! A challenging task to take on J.M. Barrie's immortal classic and present it in a new way. The playwright, director, production team, and ACTORS rose to the challenge and SUCCEEDED BRILLIANTLY. The intimate...continued

I agree with Kenyon. There is nothing really new in this story. At times it seemed slow, and at times like the adult actors were play-acting as children, possibly more accentuated by the close proximity in the small theater. I kept thinking...continued

I was a little disappointed with this play. I expected much more of a departure from the classic story. They pretty much followed the traditional story line with a little more detail on Peter's early experience with abandonment. The cast was...continued

Have to admire the dedication of these actors and wish they had more compelling material to work with. Sorry - I found the writing, like the direction, clumsy and heavy handed. Nothing magical about this Peter Pan.

Beautifully acted and directed production of Peter Pan that is definitely not for children. The ending is heartbreaking.

Ultimately I enjoyed it. It is a very playful take on the classic story of Peter Pan. Very much in the spirit of "let's pretend" with cast members playing multiple parts, and special effects done like a child would think to do them. The tone...continued

I've seen so many versions of PETER PAN I would have missed the best if I hadn't seen "...The Boy Who Hated Mother." I went to this production because an associate was playing John. The stage was gloomy and prepared me for disappointment. After...continued

Play is creative. Staging is awkward. Cast is good, in particular Captain Hook.

excellent performances and well directed, it's exciting theatre, but at over two hours, the uniqueness of the staging diminishes, but it's still well worth seeing for the special moments that do exist. although it bills itself as a radical spin on...continued

The theater was easy to find. It was Sunday so parking was easy and free. A small theater that did not make you feel like you were stuck. And the best parts were that the set was incredible and the actors were amazing. :)
