Great seats with the Goldstar price! Excellent performances! (even the injury sub for the Judd role) Sound was a bit uneven, since the performers were not wearing body mics. Go before it's gone!

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. My first time at the Civic Opera House - gorgeous!

Gold Star had a table set up in the lobby so getting my ticket was really easy.

Had planned on having lunch at the Bistro - but there was some delay in the...continued

Wonderful voices and staging. This classic remains a winner.. A few slow moments in an otherwise glorious production. Marcia

I loved it. Curly and Laurey were wonderful!! One of the best performances of Oklahoma that I have ever seen (second only to my high school's production in my junior year LOL). but seriously, I loved everything about it.

Music, singing, acting, and dancing was all first rate. The only negative comment I have is that the dream sequence at the end of the first act was way too long. While the dancing was good, I was starting to wonder when it would end. That was...continued

This was a fabulous production! The music and acting were superb and the dancing was the icing on the cake. I've seen several productions of Oklahoma! but this was by far one of the best. Smaller productions don't have this quality of dancing. ...continued

It was enjoyable, but not great. None of the dance music was cut and made for a very long production. The orchestra needed to be much fuller and the audience was waiting for a reprise of "Oklahoma" after the curtain call and there was...continued

I'm a big fan of Rogers and Hammerstein, but this probably wasn't worth price, even at a discount. The stars of the show have great vocal technique, but they lack any emotion or character depth. The supporting actors (those who play Annie, Will,...continued

First of all, the excitement of the night began as we entered the magnificent
Chicago Civic Opera House-opulent and ornate. The place was teaming with people-and you couldn't ignore the energy of the crowds excited to be there.
The production...continued

The show was good. Of coure there was all the songs we all know and love. It just felt a little starched and pressed instead of warm and fuzzy. I also didn't realize how long the show runs - 3 hours and 15 minutes. I would have choosen a...continued
