One of the best Joffrey performances I have ever attended! I would go back in a heartbeat and can only strongly recommend that everybody should see it!

Very dramatic! As good as I hoped for and better than I expected in every way - the music, the production, the performance.

The Joffrey's Othello production choreographed by Lar Lubovitch with music by Oscar winning composer Elliot Goldenthal is what full length ballets should be about. A familiar tale about love, intrigue and revenge this Shakespearean story...continued

The show was GREAT! I am so sorry I can't see it again. The dancers, the colors, the passion - I loved it!! Not to mention the guy that plays Othello is a hunk!

Watching Fabrice Calmels dancing was as usually a splendid experience. From start to finish the dancing was fabulous and so were the costumes, choreography, music and the seat I had as well. I would recommend Joffrey Ballet's performance of...continued

Thank you, Goldstar for assisting with the handicapped seating. The Joffrey performance was breathtaking. The skill of the dancers along with the beautiful combination of classical and modern in music as well as dance, made it an unforgettable...continued

Fabrice Calmels as Othello was spell binding and cast perfectly for the role. He is 6'6" and dominates just as he should, yet has unbelievable grace and range. He's a star.

Joffrey Ballet rises to the top again -- choreography, costumes, scenery, dancers -- all the best. The Auditorium Theatre is in itself beauty unlimited.

Great experience. The whole ballet was in an early 20th century style. A lot of nods to Martha Graham and Stravinsky if not outright imitation. Very well executed. The lead was probably the least interesting dancer which I imagine is due more...continued

When was the last time you remember an audience jumping to it's feet at the close of a dance performance? Faultless execution of brilliant choreography. Contemporary music was fuel for this passionate story well told. I'll be talking about this...continued

FABULOUS!!! So fabulous I am not purchasing season tickets. We attend at least 8 cultural events per month here in Chicago, and in our 10 years here, both my husband and myself thought this was one of the best performances we have seen! THANK YOU!!

It was both a joyous event to view and an honor to know that "Othello" is being retired, as it were, here in Chicago with my two Grandchildren.
Damion(15)and Mariah(10)were very much entralled with the story from the Bard, of course, and also with...continued
