This was pretty good. I sprung for the better seats but I'm not sure I'd do that again- they were near the back of the section.

Good show, interesting flow of time, enjoyable but dragged at times.

1st scene, and last scene were great..very funny...the 3 acts in the middle, just okay. Didn't realize it was a 2:45 play with a 15 minute intermission, making it 3 hours long....

At the end of the first act - when the play finally starts taking off - we had almost fallen asleep. Mind you, this was 90 minutes into the performance with another 75 minutes to go. We gave up and had Sushi instead...
The production is very...continued

Tom Stoppard's work is complex and intellectually challenging, peppered with clever humor and thought provoking one-liners. So many rich lines come flying at you all at once that it can be a bit overwhelming at times. If it's your first time...continued

This was one of the worst, if not the worst, plays I have seen, and I have seen a lot of plays. The acting was wooden and the story almost non existent. I did not care about anyone or anything in it.

Not a good performance. The acoustics of the theater are strained, but other directors have not obliged their actors to face the audience and shout. Casting is very uneven, with a strong Nightingale (Parsons), but a Lady Croom who disastrously...continued

The ACT production is a bit weak (muddled direction and acting causes some of the author's points to disappear) but you still have a chance to see one of the great plays of the 20th century.

A solid production.
Act I actually started out pretty dull... I couldn't stand Rebekah Brockman's 13-year-old Thomasina, but in Act II she was fantastic. Nick Gabriel, who stole the show as Miss Leighton in "Once in a Lifetime" and gave a solid...continued

Good play. Very rich in content (particularly is you like seeing some science leak into everyday life and art). It was well presented though the actors were not miced and some of it was hard to hear. Also, we had seats over to one side in the...continued

The play is wonderful. The production was first rate. However, the acting was a little flat. Some of the actors appeared to be doing an imitation of what he or she thought a British actor would do, rather than inhabiting the character in a...continued

An engrossing, well acted day at the theater. Stoppard at his best. You leave your seats thinking about the themes of life, love, commitment, time and the whole universe. A play to be pondered!

Tom Stoppard! What a guy! What a playwright! In Arcadia, he mixes The 19th and 21st centuries, fabulous witty characters, Newtonian thought, Fermat's last Theorem, The Second Law of thermodynamics, Mary Had a Little Lamb and much more. See this...continued

Well acted, especially by the 18th Century cast. I did not enjoy the modern scenes nearly as much. The ACT theater is badly in need of renovation. Seats in the Mezzanine were very uncomfortable.

Yawn! Well acted, but a bit too heady for a 3 hour performance.

"Arcadia" felt more like a bunch of freshmen undergraduates who were putting on a play just for fun than a professional group of actors performing a legitimate piece of theatre. I was extremely disappointed in A.C.T.'s latest work, and we ended up...continued
