A darkly hilarious, British kind of Death of a Salesman. The dialogue was riveting, laugh out loud funny, as well as poignant and wince inducing. The actors were beyond gifted and seeing it in the San Francisco Playhouses new but antique jewel box...continued

Wonderful understated British humor. Terrific acting, fast paced and many extremely comic moments .The show involves split second timing that mis- fired at times. However, this should be alleviated as the actors get more comfortable in their...continued

SF Playhouse always puts on a great production and now even better with the Kensington Park Hotel location. Playhouse director Susi Damilano plays the role of high maintenance Beverly to the tee. You will feel like the fly on the wall at this...continued

Excellent production, as is always the case with this fine fine company.
Susi Damiano blew my socks off with her over-the-top Beverly.
Rest of the cast all top notch as well.
The theatre is gorgeous, in the beautiful old Kensington Park...continued

The first half was entertaining but the second half became monotonous and boring. The ending was terrible.

Sorry I have seen a much better play at this same theater before and yesterday left feeling disappointed.

We really enjoyed this show! Hasn't heard anything about it, and decided to go last minute. The cast was terrific, and the pitch perfect British accents...(of class as well as region) added immeasurably. I will admit, I couldn't keep my eyes off...continued

I love SF Playhouse! They choose really interesting plays, and you can always count on a fun, interesting evening. The quality of the acting is phenomenal, and the sets and everything else is totally professional. The thing I like best is, as...continued

Starts out rather slow and plodding and a bit verbose with some caricature ...but the comedic timing and physical comedy of Julia Brother's Susan and Allison Jean White's Angela are amazingly good at setting up the subtle spiral arc of this show....continued

First time to use Goldstar and it was an easy experience. Really enjoyed the play. We discovered it even more thought provoking than we thought as we've been talking about some of the scenes the last few days. Yes, as others have indicated the...continued

It was disappointing. Fair efforts by the cast, a few of them were struggling with their "British" accent. They should have changed the setting to somewhere closer to home (Silicone Valley would be fine), and the story would still work, and they...continued

I love the Playhouse. It is a wonderful place to see a show. The acting in this was good and I particularly found the physical comedy of the characters Tony & Sue to be hilarious. I just didn't find the script very compelling. Other things I have...continued

Cute/enjoyable play what I could see of it, mostly heads as stage furniture blocked most of my view. My petite lady did not fair much better. HORRIBLE seats, first row far left.
