Honestly, this production was rather disappointing--and we ADORE "Camelot"! Aside from the excellent actors who played Arthur, Pellinore, and the knights, the acting was lackluster, the singing below par. The orchestra was hit-and-miss. From the...continued

Johnny Moreno (King Arthur) has that star quality, and whenever he was acting or singing, it was really excellent. The rest of the production really didn't work for me. I thought that the acting was weak, and the attempt to turn this into a...continued

The three of us were disappointed. I think Bill English was too ambitious. the set was clunky and massive and turned this way and that but it felt intrusive. Of course it was a preview and will get better but the only actor singer (in he three...continued

I would give this production a "B." One of the major roles was miscast, otherwise
it went off well. As for the theater, the seats are very uncomfortable, seemingly
installed early in the 20th century when people were much smaller than they are...continued

I was out with friends otherwise probably would have left at the intermission. Worst show I've seen at Playhouse. Perhaps they were going for high school musical vibe - like we are just joking around here. On purpose or not it wasn't working. ...continued

Athough I am familiar with the music and the voices were OK, I found it a little bit amateur.
Maybe with some polishing and a different scenography could help

I'm afraid my husband was bored but I really enjoyed the show. I remembered all the words from my childhood and it was great to revisit. Great set and wonderful voices. I had a great time and would recommend it.

The seats assigned to us were in the first row. Distance to stage was about 5 feet. Stage was at our eye-level! And the actors spent most of time on set elevated above stage. We would have had plenty-sore necks if we'd stayed there. Theater...continued

We left at intermission. Arthur was okay. The production was quite amatuerish. Guenivere didn't have the needed range for the songs. Came across shrill. Given Merlin's costuming, we couldn't bear to see how Mordred would be handled.

SF Playhouse is a great company but they should not do musicals or at least hire singers and actors. Save your money on this one!

Amazing staging. Edgy costuming. Fantastic directorial take on an old classic. As always, stellar acting. Love. Love. Love this theater company.

My friend and I enjoyed this and we thought all of the actors did very well. Camelot is slow moving in general and the songs are not show stoppers by any means. Still the cast gave a wonderful performance. First half was a bit long. The second...continued

This is a very difficult show to produce requiring not only excellent vocal talents, but strong actors. This production, using local performers, succeeds in reaching these goals, especially the male cast. The weak performance by Monique Hafen...continued

After SF Playhouse's terrific "My Fair Lady" and "Abigail's Party," this feels like a misstep. Though Monique Hafen is terrific as Guenevere, Johnny Moreno lacks the charm he had playing Henry Higgins, and Wilson Jermaine Heredia as Lancelot is...continued

Loved it! Our seats were perfect, and the play was great. Arthur and Lancelot were wonderfully cast, and the whole production was smooth and very professional.

Just really excellent production, I loved it, in spite of poor seat/sightlines, which seems to be par for the course for their Goldstar patrons. The acting and play selections, however, are worth the neck pain from trying to view the action from...continued

Great set, some very good acting, but the play itself is just dated.

The set was very impressive, even before the show began. Too bad it had obstructed sightlines from my seat at the end of the front row. The company seemed overwhelmed with the set and uncomfortable with the slope on part of the set. Lancelot...continued
