Wow...too many shockers in this play. I was amazed at how deep they went into this play. I loved it. Was on the edge of my seat. Keith Washington was wonderful. Great seats too.

Everything was superbly executed! From the actors, stage support, music and lighting engineers that supported the show. I applaud the cast and all involved with this project. The music of Marvin was missed a bit but excellence prevailed!!!

I was very disappointed that none of Mr. Gaye's music was allowed to be performed for this show. I would not have purchased tickets had I known that. The band was too loud which drowned out the singing and the show was too long (almost 3 hrs).

The show was good however, I wished I could have heard all of the Marvin Gaye hits that I grew up with.

It was thought provoking and well acted. I would rate this play 4+ but there is no "+" to use. The venue and seats were good. The only thing missing was music sung by Marvin Gaye.

Love Marvin Gaye and his music. Wanted to hear his life story. But without his music we love it doesn't work. Good actors. Powerful singers, Production needs much work from lighting cues to staging to writing.

The production had some highlights, but it was very disappointing that the music for which Marvin Gaye was known was NOT a part of the production. Additionally, I still left with multiple unanswered questions...attending the play was my attempt to...continued

Pretty good production, but not being able to use Marvin Gaye's music in the play definitely made an impact.

The intent was good, but not being able to use Marvin's music was very disapointing.

The show seemed a bit low budget and less professional than other shows performed at the Pantages Theatre. The singing was great, acting was ok, and the story-line was interesting. Too bad they couldn't sing songs from Motown. That would have made...continued

I loved the story it was very interesting and informative; I learned things about Marvin
Gaye's disfunctional Family. Given his extreme problems he overcame them for awhile and was truly a genius. I really missed the music, but purchased a CD...continued

As fan of Marvin Gaye I was both satisfied and disappointed. Satisfied that there was an event that would share the life and career of Marvin. I was disappointed at how the information was presented and especially the lack of music from Marvin...continued

First of all, this was a really lousy production, and a total waste of time and money.
Secondly, this is the 2nd time that I get seats and tickets that have less $ value on them
then what I paid you! The seats were soso, At my last show which...continued

Wow....This was pretty bad. How do you produce a musical about the life and music of Marvin Gaye and not have any Marvin Gaye songs. If you couldn't get the license, maybe that should have been a hint that a musical was not the way to go.......

I enjoyed the show; seats were fine. I had my binoculars but only needed to use them when I wanted to see the performers faces really good.

This play was awesome. My jaw dropped to find out certain revelations about the family dynamics. I wish we had known earlier about his troubles, maybe Marvin and the family could have been helped earlier, and avoided this tragedy. Thanks to his...continued

Appeared to more like a musical w/out Marvin Gaye's music. But overall I did enjoy it.
