It gets quite cold - my only remark - otherwise fabulous. Since it's Shakespeare and probably Middel English - it's worth knowing the plot as it's hard to follow the words sometimes.

One of the best productions of MND I've seen. Oberon seemed a little more villianous than I'm used to and his relationship with Titania a little different than I'd envision it. The acting was marvelous. The setting is really beautiful (though...continued

When I went to see the play unfortunately it began to rain right as intermission came around. I was very upset, but fortunately they were so nice and offered me free tickets to come back any day I'd like. I came back and watched all the way...continued

Just a magnificent night of theater. The venue is beautiful, the cast is extraordinary-- almost everything about the production is top notch. I had some reservations about some of the music-- in particular, the three songs that open the show had...continued

This is the second play by this company and as with the last, I thoroughly enjoyed it. the modern twists on an old and wonderful story do nothing to detract from the poets intent, and, for me, makes it that much more relatable and interesting. ...continued

It was a wonderful experience. Some difficulty finding the place partly because of the FWY interchange w/o signs for West on Wilshire from the South. Then in the VA not enough signage. But we managed and had a wonderful time.

After we found the place, parking was a dream. The Veterans who volunteered for the evening were very helpful. The Japanese Garden was pretty, but we didn't really look around much.
The performance was wonderful. My niece, who is studying the...continued

One of the best productions of Midsummer that I've seen. The acting was amazing, there wasn't one wasted word - Shakespeare put it all in there and this ENTIRE cast got it right. The whole time I was thinking, "wow, when Shakespeare is done...continued

Loved the show, the actors, the venue, the music, the unique direction of this version of AMSND from the Bard. My young kids also loved the show which proves that Shakespeare can be very accessible when done by people who know what they are doing....continued

Wow! This was one of the best productions of MSND I've seen and I've seen many!! Clever concept with so many belly laughs. Shakespeare has never been easier to understand. Standout performances by Marcella Lenz-Pope as Hermia (a young, vivacious,...continued

A tremendous experience by a stellar company. Will Shakespeare himself would have had a rollicking time in that venue with those people. They got the reality of the play - it was a comment on the court and the players who played there, both on and...continued

A wonderful, wonderful experience. Fabulous cast and presentation! Picnicking before the show was great. Most important...check the location and the entries to the VA before you go. The traffic around the VA is HORRENDOUS, so you don't want to...continued

At first I thought, oh no, it is not going to be "my cup of tea" with the singing, but after that changed my mind. It was very enjoyable, funny, well acted, and on the whole, a good rendition of Shakespeare. I am very fussy, since I was weaned...continued

It was a wonderful play.. actors were great.. But I wish they had period costumes instead of the modern-day version.
