Twelfth Night is a great, funny play with a lot of potential for a creative company to make it unique -- But this is really special!! Oak Park Festival Theatre has outdone itself in an amazing, heartfelt, hilarious and tender performance. The...continued

great show, loved the beach party theme, but I felt sorry for the cast in their beach attire on such a cold night

A very enjoyable way to spend a summer evening. Weather forecast was to be in the low 90's but, the shade of the old trees and coolness of the park made it extremely comfortable. $3 to park across Forest Ave, lawn chairs, a cooler with snacks &...continued

Enjoyed the 1st half of play and the Austin Gardens environment, however being outside had the weather effect the play. Due to lightening and eventually rain - the rest of the play could not continue. Will try to get back to see the rest because...continued

This was a delightful performance in a beautiful setting. The cast and direction were exceptional. Great fun. The audience was all ages - many brought picnics - even their dogs!

Just about everything was off, except for the actors who gave their best but that was not enough to prevent disaster

The theater experience was great, but we were lucky enough to have an absolutely perfect night for it, weather-wise. The play was entertaining, some creative tweaks with the beach setting. Overall, very enjoyable!

I was disappointed by this production--it did not live up to all the hype. The only thing beach party about it was the cheap, uninteresting costumes and the music before & after the play. Other than that, it was a pretty standard production with...continued

I think I did Twelfth Night a disservice by seeing Amadeus the week before. I loved Amadeus so much and I was hoping for the same experience with Twelfth Night. but I did not love the 'modernization' of this great play. it was a clever premise,...continued

The concept of a beach party didn't add anything to Twelfth Night. I didn't get the rationale for a Viola in that setting to change her identity to a man. Also, there were a few times when the dialog seemed to drag. Other than those...continued

A lovely evening of theatre under the stars! The Beach Party theme worked quite well for my favorite Shakespearean comedy.
A light drizzle toward the end of the show timed perfectly with the closing song "The rain it raineth everyday"!

The play is very well done - great by any measure, but presented in a "Beach Party" setting, with Sir Toby hiding behind a surf board backdrop, the pre-show beach ball toss, some really cute short shorts, it was hilarious. Festival Theater almost...continued

"Twelfth Night" is a true crowd pleaser, and OPFT did it proud. A good Viola/Cesario is a deal breaker, and Lucy Carapetyan has that delicate, vulnerable, intelligent, stouthearted, plucky something that makes it no surprise two people fall in...continued

Fun, and funny production of Shakespeare. Crystal clear, beautiful night and crystal clear text. Wonderful cast of talented actors. See this show! Complimentary bug spray - on location, btw, if you forget yours, like I did. :)

The show was very well done and true to both Shakespeare's language and the beach setting. Small intimate setting in the park makes the action easier to follow. Nice setting and nice evening but definitely take advantage if the free bug spray!
