Absolutely wonderful! The show was perfectly staged and managed by Theater Wit, and enough superlatives cannot be thrown at the actors ways, who sing, act, and play piano throughout the entire show. Definitely not to be missed!

I have seen this show twice before but this one blew me away! Not too long ago, i caught
"Fiddler On The Roof" at the Paramount and was really impressed by actor Jim Deselm. Here he completely embodies Jamie. The very talented Mr Deselm acts,...continued

this a an excellent production, with two of most talented people I have ever seen on stage. They play the music, they sing, and they act. Brilliantly conceived and directed and a great American musical

The two actors also provided most of the music -- each played the piano for the other when not singing. It was quite impressive.

What a wonderful experience! Think about it, a 2-person musical. I just knew they would have to bring in huge talent and they did. Very clever story, beautifully written. The piano playing was terrific. Step outside the theater and you have 10...continued

Really well-done show. My husband is a huge fan of this musical, having seen it in the past, so it was great to be able to see it together here. Beautiful music and powerful story.

The actors were wonderful and the play was good.
We loved the very creative premise of telling the same story from two points of view and in two directions chronologically.

We were delighted to get the free parking behind Cooper's and everyone at...continued

The play/musical was fantastic! I went with someone who was familiar with the show -inside and out - and this person LOVED it! The use of the two pianos was wonderful. Very impressed!

This was my first time seeing this play and I was overwhelmingly moved by it! The acting was very strong, the musical accompaniment was well played, and even from one of the back rows I felt an unusually connected, cathartic experience. I loved...continued

A great play, good performances, and an interesting choice of staging makes for an enjoyable finale for a weekend of theater.

I'd been trying to see The Last Five Years for several years, and Kokandy's production just happened to open during a...continued

Not only was Theater Wit a wonderful, intimate theater in Chicago, but the musical was fantastic.

This show was wonderful! It was mine and my daughter's first musical with only two performers in the show and they were so incredibly talented! As were the musicians. The concept of the show/story line was also very different and although the...continued

Theatre Wit is a great space with a friendly and courteous staff, and I've seen some really top-notch theatre at Wit over the past year. This show, however, was dreadful. The piano gimmick served no function in telling the story, and not only were...continued
