You might want to do a little research about this play before going. The couple we went with was confused at the beginning of the play, but I had read some of the critics' reviews first and understood the relationships of the characters, which...continued

Loved the writing! Bruce Norris is terrific, but I had hoped that the subject matter would be more provocative. Thought that Tom Irwin was wonderful.I found the rest of the cast too mechanical. I'm still glad that I saw it.

Well-acted, interesting conceit, but ultimately more shallow and obtuse than hoped.

Great show. I highly recommend it. The writing, performances and sets are stellar. The only sad part was the empty seats at the Taper. $25 on Goldstar.. it's a bit more expensive than a movie and well worth. I believe that good theater stays...continued

Superb acting, all round. Great plot. Clever sets.
Too bad not enough people are in attendance, it should be sold out (this would never happen to a play like this in New York or London)!

The acting, directing, sets & lighting were brilliant. Act 1 was wonderful! The writing fell apart in Act 2 and the slow reveal (spoiler alert) of her mental illness felt like a cheap "out" on behalf of the playwright. The fundamental question of...continued

Liked the play very much, but the Goldstar seats were in the very last row. So caution when buying -- I didn't expect the best seats, but didn't anticipate the worst ones would be the ones Goldstar sells.

Seeing "A Parallelogram" was the highlight of our trip to LA. Great script: challenging, clever, and witty. Acting was superb!

This was a well done production of a poor script. The acting, directing, and design elements were all top notch. Unfortunately the script was muddled and unformed. At times I thought the play was moving into some interesting and provocative ideas,...continued
