First time at Wooly Mamouth (since I moved here in Sept 2012). "Detroit" was mostly funny, poignant and a bit shocking as two couples bonded in neighborly friendship to design new lives, despite the after-effects of the recession and...continued

The 4 lead characters are SOOO wacky that I couldn't help but laugh. There was so much energy on stage. You are bound to enjoy the characters' oddities and bluntness. All the actors deliver a fine performance. Set design is very impressive....continued

Excellent set, lighting and sound design. But the play itself is unconvincing.

Great production and fine performances but to no avail. What a depressing, rotten play. I felt nothing for any of the characters and isn't that what a theater experience is supposed to provide? I do not understand Wooly's play choices...

It was just an awful play. But the seats were great.

Seats were not what were requested but performances by all were super. A most interesting and absorbing plot with combination of humor and serious undertones. Discussed it at length on way home. Another Woolly hit for us!

I think the set design was nice, with nice visuals. That's about it.

The women actors were completely over the top and not at all believable. The male actor depicting Kenny did a good job, making his character the only realistic one...no...continued

It was a great play! It was a bit more "action" than what I originally anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise for me!

I enjoyed the play: a sad story with lots of funny dialogue and good acting by all four of the major characters. My mom and I were in Sec. A (front row, right up against the stage). Overall, I would recommend against those seats: it's harder to...continued

This is a very intense in-your-face play so it really is hard to say that I loved it. However, the play and the performers are certainly worth five stars. Don't miss it

Unfortunately, as much as we usually love Woolly shows, we didn't this one -- it did not feel "real" -- the characters were too over the top -- we didn't "care" about them -- and we've never seen so much actual destruction in a single performance...continued

Incredible acting, great set, much to think about. We also had an amazing pre-theater "little" meal at Oyamel, everything was scrumptious.

Wonderful! Enjoyed the play and the satire on today's America. I also enjoyed the discussion afterwards by the urban institute.
Appreciated the parking across for $10. Parking in DC (the lack and the prohibitive rates) prevent me sometimes from...continued

Characters were great and plausible--reminded us of a neighbor we have. The ending was not at all what I was expecting so I found that to be a shock. I thought that the acting was great, the set was great, and the story was really good. I would...continued
