horrible acting, the actors seemed like they were doing a play reading not performing in a show. no emotionality, no impact. disappointing considering the masterful film by fassbinder!

Never saw the movie but thought it would have been better as a movie, which of course it was. The acting was fabulous, and the lady who played Maria Braun was excellent, but also supported by a great cast behind her.
