This tragicomedy should be renamed "The Bickersons." Ugh. The actors did their best but the material is long, boring, and senseless. Save your time and money.

Good effort. " Irish version" is a refreshing idea. Excellent period costumes. Acting was good but uneven . It seemed that the actors got tired by the time mid second act rolled in. Perhaps the second act was a little drawn out...

Amanda Quaid was marvelous as Mary. The rest of the cast just didn't "click" for me. I didn't believe that the other actors were the complex, intriguing characters Chekov created.

A moving adaptation of a timeless story. Great performances by the ensemble cast.

Very powerful play. I was completely drawn into the story, laughing and crying, just like everyone else who enjoyed the play so much.

I'm going to get this 3 stars. The acting was wonderful and the direction great. I also loved the venue. But I just wasn't a fan of the play itself. Nothing against the actors at all, but I just didn't find any of the characters very likable. ...continued

I was very disappointed. The characters weren't people at all. They were caricatures. I left at the intermission and I NEVER leave before the end.

The play was truly deep and relevent today. It was refreshing to have the Irish scene/language etc. the background to a Chekov play.

The theater was so conveniently located to a subway and that was a big plus.
