Honestly, there was a part of the 1st half (20mins before intermission) that felt kinda slow & her Bklyn accent + rendition of certain children's/ teens' voices were kinda iffy, BUT she REALLY connected w/ the audience, and I had to hold back my...continued

This one-woman performance sharing her "aunting" experience of many children whose lives she impacted greatly is very powerful and left me wishing I had such an "aunt". While her voicing of the children's voices and affect sometimes felt...continued

My friend and I both loved the performance and the material. Two hours and 15 min. was a bit too long as some of the material is intense and there is some straining to hear everything as the actress moves around on the stage.

What a wonderful performance, Auntie Charlayne Woodard is excellent. She athletically glides into each character with amazing grace and warmth. You will "see" and hear them come alive. In a matter of minutes I was captured with love and...continued

Charlayne Woodard was amazing! The vignettes were poignant, full of humor and wisdom. They revealed the actor's big heart for the children in her life. Highly recommended.

The Goldstar ticketing experience was smooth. Seats were good and performance was fantastic! She is a great talent! Parking is the main drawback to the Studio Theater. Much cruising required to find a spot.

The only downside was the parking, as usual. I will think long and hard before purchasing tickets for the Studio Theatre again. Perhaps Studio can provide a shuttle service from the Metro. It is really too far to walk. I was a half hour late, due...continued

It was very entertaining! I'm not usually a fan of one person shows but the time flew by and I was gripped.

Everyone should see this play. We have talked about it since leaving the theatre. Thank You, Charlayne Woodard and all "Aunties" who enrich our children's lives.

Had a great seat for a great one-person show. I'm still thinking about the show, which is always a good sign. Significant insights into a life very different from my own along with humor and tragedy kept me enthralled.

I went with three others and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this show. A lot of depth and a lot of laughter. Ms. Woodard is and incredible actress and storyteller.
