Some nice voices, but it's difficult to determine what the message of this show is supposed to be. It's probably meant to suggest that one has the power to change one's life, but in the end it does just the opposite. Still, not as bad as the...continued

Inspiring; more like an oratorio than a musical.

The plot was flimsy, the music terrible. No sense to having people from different eras on the same stage. Very earnest actors with pleasant voices. People started leaving in 30 minutes. Fortunately it was a one act. Not worth the half price...continued

The play was terrible and the songs totally unmemorable. I felt sorry for the great cast having so little to work with. My husband commented that no one clapped during the play until the very end -- does that tell you something?

This play is rather pointless. The music is OK, but the theme is undeveloped and obtuse. The characters are cut-out figures on a stage. I found that I had no emotional involvement with any of the characters in this play.

The theatre does not have a bad seat. This play contained excellent singing and beautifully written.

My wife and i thoroughly disliked this musical -- the music was bad to mediocre at best; the staging was dull and unchanging; the cast was largely amateurish, both in singing and acting; the play was plotless with dialogue full of cliched wisdom....continued

CREATIVE BUT BORING. Band was excellent as were the actors. Their lives weren' particularly interesting or dynamic.

Okay, but not compelling or terribly entertaining. Forgettable tunes. Little audience engagement, but it was a live performance and I'm always grateful that actors are performing for me... we're got to turn up to support them!

Cardboard characters. Talking songs without melody. As with so many other new plays at Signature "preachy". Would not recommend to anyone.

I really didn't like this play AT ALL. And what a waste of Nova's talents. It just never went anywhere and the songs were all FLAT. To make matters worse, the seats were very uncomfortable which made for a very long evening. I wouldn't recommend...continued

I liked the set, but that was about it. The words to the lyrics and the lines of the play were repetitive. So much more could have been done with the theme. It was short - no intermission - but I was glad when it was over. I saw people dozing. I...continued

The concept of the show was interesting, yet I don't think it was fully realized on the stage. I can't recall any of the songs one day after going. The ensemble was notable, just not the material. I can't recommend this.

Very original show which captured the universal verities about people's fear and hopes. Wonderful voices!

It was my first visit to Signature Theater and I'm glad I went! The venue is delightful, the production quite good, and the staff was efficient and pleasant. There may have been some new ushers --a lot of people were mis-directed and had to...continued

This was the most boring musical I've ever attended. The voices were fantastic, but the songs and the "story line", such as it is, were repetitive and boring. I almost went to sleep during the performance. Not worth even the discounted ticket...continued

This is a small, intimate theater in Shirlington. The "acting" was starting as the audience came in to take their seats. It was unique in that all the characters were set in different decades of American history, including 2013, 1970's, WWII,...continued
