This was a highly enjoyable presentation of the classic Moliere play in a brilliant translation.

Written 350 years ago, it is still relevant today and will be for the next 350 years. See it whenever it’s done, especially when it’s done this brilliantly.

Really enjoyed this production. Lots of fun, glitzy costumes, easy to understand every word. Not a bad seat in the house, either.

Very nice theater and a good experience. Enjoyed a classic play. Was well staged, well paced, and well acted. The costumes were very good!

It was ok. This theater is reliably ok, and I love their commitment to the classics. Occasionally it's an amazing experience, but this wasn't one of them.

Not really up to Noise Within's standards, we thought. The translation, in rhyme, is wonderfully clever, but the actors are RECITING the lines, without really reflecting their mood or meaning, rather than SAYING them, so that I had to play them...continued

As always, A Noise Within offers a wonderful theatre experience. Great theatre, friendly staff, beautiful stage and costumes, professional actors and wonderful material. I recommend A Noise Within highly!

The performance was a lot of fun: excellent actors, who seemed to be having as much fun as the audience. Perhaps there could be some more bite to Tartuffe and its message of hypocrisy, but this went down easy. A super evening at the theater.

It was almost perfect. Really well done play, but just a tad bit overdone with couple of the actors (most specifically, Valere). I know it's a comedie, a farce but I felt that people enjoyed more of the buffoonery than the deliverance of Moliere's...continued

The performance was great. So funny and such great timing. Loud. Crazy.
I do suggest an arrow or two showing the way for those of us coming in the back way from the Gold line station.
I kind of wandered around a bit before finding the right...continued

From a farcical opening to an ever deepening, darkening portrayal of a master of hypocrisy, fraud and greed preying upon a credulous, self-deceiving mind, ANW's illuminating production echos the comic-tragic insights of Dante, Shakespeare and...continued

As we have come to expect at Noise Within, the production was delightful, acting superb. Tartuffe is a laugh-out-loud farce, and the Noise Within company fully did it justice!

The show was better than expected given how small the theatre was. I like the costumes but the wigs were not impressive. The actor that played Tartuffe and Doreen were absolutely brilliant. However, the rest of the casts' accent would come and go....continued

The Richard Wilbur translation of Tartuffe is one of the most distinguished literary translations of the last century. However, for all its wit and fidelity to the Moliere text and the poetry and verve of the couplets, without brilliant actors and...continued
