the acting was good but the play was very slow moving and seemed to want to cover more than it should.

Unfortunately, the play was bogged down by weak writing, an overly traditional interpretation, weak artistic direction and its own earnestness. The self consciousness on the stage should have been replaced by drama, impact, conflict, and an...continued

I liked this performance of "Silent Sky" and the cast did an excellent job. One of my observations is that this performance could have been performed in just one act without any intermission. The play was way less than a half hour after the...continued

Terrific play on a topic very little known. The female cast was top notch. The male actor was a delight. Thanks to Theaterworks for bringing this gem to the Bay area.

as usual, I love this venue.....easy underground parking, and all the seats are good. the story carries the play---- though the performance could use some improvement. definitely worth seeing.

Great, GREAT play, everything "works": this unique story served so well by really good actors, a beautiful decor and a very nice mise-en-scene.

The play was well done. Actresses were very good! The actor was also very good in his role. Play itself was effective in showing "passion" and women's place in the world.
Set was delightful in expressing love for astronomy.
