Gore Vidal's Political Satire The Best Man Reviews & Ratings
I'd actually give this a 3.5. It was still in previews - in a couple of weeks no doubt some of the rough edges will be ironed out. The play is a little dated but especially those who remember 1960s politics it will be entertaining.report as inappropriate
The actors were all quite competent except the lead male (the intellectual presidential candidate). The venue is small- no bad seats. But the play is very dated, and there was no attempt to make it more relevant.report as inappropriate
This is our second play at Keegan - great venue, talent - we will watch for anything Keegan presents. On a scale of 1-10, both plays were 9 (excellent). We previously owned season tickets elsewhere - the plays were good, but not excellent.report as inappropriate
The Keegan rarely disappoints. Good casting with a couple of standouts (Joe's wife, the ex-prez) and a story that even though it was written 50 years ago, is still relevant to our contemporary political system. Very enjoyable.report as inappropriate
The casting was not perfect but otherwise a most enjoyable play.report as inappropriate
It was a fantasticlay. Well acted and stages.
It could not be better!!!
Love this little theater and can't wait for the renovations.
Play was very good. Most of the actors were excellent. Front row seats and perfect view. Will definitely recommend to others.
The production seemed very chopping and hesitant. The lead actor did not project well, while the secondary performers seemed to carry the show. The theater was uncomfortablereport as inappropriate
A great show in a small intimate theater. Will definitely be going back to the Keegan Theater in the near future!report as inappropriate
Pretty mediocre acting, overall. Wouldn't see again. Nice space, though!report as inappropriate
