Very believable performance. Given that DC is such a political town, many of the lines were taken as inside the Beltway commentary. The actors were well cast to their roles. I am always impressed how the Keegan Theater does so much with such a...continued

The actors were all quite competent except the lead male (the intellectual presidential candidate). The venue is small- no bad seats. But the play is very dated, and there was no attempt to make it more relevant.

I'd actually give this a 3.5. It was still in previews - in a couple of weeks no doubt some of the rough edges will be ironed out. The play is a little dated but especially those who remember 1960s politics it will be entertaining.

Lovely little quaint theatre. Intimate and acting was excellent! Drove and parking lot was close by.

This is our second play at Keegan - great venue, talent - we will watch for anything Keegan presents. On a scale of 1-10, both plays were 9 (excellent). We previously owned season tickets elsewhere - the plays were good, but not excellent.

The Keegan rarely disappoints. Good casting with a couple of standouts (Joe's wife, the ex-prez) and a story that even though it was written 50 years ago, is still relevant to our contemporary political system. Very enjoyable.

An excellent production marred by an inexplicable casting decision. The actor who played William Russell was so bland and robotic in the delivery of his lines that it was embarrassing. The other actors were fine, and Vidal's script witty and...continued

I quite enjoyed it! Such brilliant actors and a very witty and cheeky piece. The writer captured the 60s quite well, with the exception of an electric shaver in the 60s?? But, a great play! I was also a bit flummoxed when a dog began to bark...continued

This is a good old-fashioned play with an interesting story. The production was good; nothing spectacular. Although this small theatre has everyone pretty close to the action there were times when the actors swallowed their words or talked too...continued

Love this little theater and can't wait for the renovations.
Play was very good. Most of the actors were excellent. Front row seats and perfect view. Will definitely recommend to others.

The production seemed very chopping and hesitant. The lead actor did not project well, while the secondary performers seemed to carry the show. The theater was uncomfortable

A great show in a small intimate theater. Will definitely be going back to the Keegan Theater in the near future!

Wonderful to find a small theater so close to where we live in Dupont Circle. The Best Man was illuminating - tied to the 1960s when it was written and yet so enduring. Acting was a delight. Can't wait till Keegan Theater does Hair this spring! A...continued
