It's hard to go wrong with THE MUSIC MAN and this MTW presentation is pretty entertaining. Davis Gaines (arm in sling, due to an accident), works hard and carries with the show with abundant energy. The cast surrounding him possess strong voices...continued

It was way to much dancing, I don't remember in the movie this part. I thought the female singing was much better than Davis Gaines. He was not projecting his voice so much; all in all enjoyed it.

Great singing and dancing! How could you go wrong with Davis Gaines as the lead? The sets were fantastic, too, as were the costumes. Did I mention the orchestra? Perfect! It's a great show to take the kids to see, too.

A colorful production of a classic musical but is there really a need for
for the over amplification used at this performance

A terrific production. Davis Gaines had a sore shoulder, so he had different shoulder slings -- to match his costumes -- throughout the show. We were amazed at the Well's Fargo wagon.

We saw "Young Frankenstein" here too. Loved that as well.

A rousing revival of one of the best musical comedies ever written. Davis Gaines (even with his arm in a sling) and Gail Bennett nailed the leading roles. Ms. Bennett has a clear bell-toned soprano reminiscent of Barbara Cook. The supporting...continued

Another excellent show (opening night/sold out) at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center. One of our most favorite places to view an entertainment event due to excellent seating/sight lines plus in-close reasonably priced parking ($5). Show was...continued

One of my friends had not seen the show before and was enchanted.
Davis was a perfect music man, although he had pulled his shoulder
out of joint. The production was bright and happy. Marian was a good actress, but her voice was a bit shrill in...continued

Despite being a dated show, it is enjoyable to see this familiar piece. Good cast and fun costumes and set design. An enjoyable evening.
