Better than expected. As soon as the two kids portraying Cece and Bertie came out, I knew we were in for a treat. All the actors were very good, songs were catchy, sets very good. Great production. The understudy for Bertie played at the...continued

Based on the movie of 1988, (based on the book 1985), Beaches follows a life-long friendship of BFF's CeeCee and Bertie. I mistakenly expected the musical to be sad from the onset, simply because I had forgotten much of the movie. So, I was...continued

Everything was perfect. Signature had my tickets in my hand in minutes and Beaches was the BEST musical (or any theatrical production) I have seen in years! It was fantastic -- worthy of the best Broadway stage!

The cast was amazing, very talented. All seats are good in the signature theatre. Great experience as usual.

This was a great show! Actress that played Ce Ce Bloom had a powerful set of pipes (unfortunately for her co-star Bertie, who struggled to keep up) and great comedic timing. Go!

Not as schmaltzy as the movie. Not great, but very good. The music and the diva-like behavior of Cee-Cee Bloom brought Dreamgirls very much to mind. The best thing about the show are the three pairs of women who play Cee-Cee and her friend at...continued

Enjoyable musical based on the book and the film. Not as moving as the film. Very nice venue.

Stellar performances from the two leads. Their vocals were very impressive. It's hard to beat Bette Midler's standout performance, and they did a great job for such big shoes to fill. I did think that Roberta's role of strength was diminished a...continued

Play and cast were excellent. Would have given it 5 stars except for the ending. Ending left the play "unfinished". The girl earlier hated CeeCee and then all of a sudden it's okay. Didn't need aid to nod her head to indicate Bertie had died. ...continued

The actors are phenominal. First act a little slow, second act great. A little choppy, but definitely off Broadway worthy.

Wonderful performance. The stage design was very unusual depicting the two girl's lives as they met and grew up together to be best friends. Loved it!
