Too didactic. Acting weaker than usual from Theater J, especially the main character.

But the fact that many Jews are wantabees (something else) is done well. And the Marcus character steals the show.

This play is not nearly as funny as the promotional material would like one to believe. There are some moments of promise in the first act, but the second half drags. I found myself wondering when it would end.

The play was very well done - characters, acting, set design, lighting. It probably isn't Broadway material, but very enjoyable. There is not a bad seat in the house.

If I could, I would give this production 3.5 stars. I found the play interesting and thought-provoking, although not entirely satisfying. The cast was engaging, and I liked the set design.

I thought the script was exceptionally well written. My attention never flagged, maybe because I'm culturally sensitive> thank you to my parents for that. The pacing was excellent, the set was great. My girl-friend had some trouble following the...continued
