C'mon A.C.T.!!I understand the play was in "preview" stage Sunday night, but it wasn't the first preview performance. I expected more from professional actors. It felt like amateur night with flubbed lines, a hammy actor as inspector, bad timing...continued

Our seats were far better than advertised - we purchased 2 balcony tickets and got 2 excellent orchestra tickets! Very pleased with that aspect, but the play just wasn't all that great.

The experience of going out was fun. We actually didn't care for the play at all. It was uninteresting and had no real story arc or dramatic point. We've seen a number of ACT productions and found this one of the worst. Sorry to be so candid...continued

The Italian dialects are embarrassing. It was poorly written and poorly cast. Between a mediocre dinner and the play, it was $1000 our family should have spent elsewhere.

This was my first experience with Goldstar and it was the easiest and most satisfying experience in tickets purchasing. Best seats, up close to stage and best prices!!!
The play was much, much better than expected as I had read some negative...continued

Very disappointing evening. The voices of several actors did not carry well up to our last row of the balcony (not the best seats I guess) and seem more like a non professional troupe.

We had a wonderful time. The play was well translated and the acting was superb. I love a play where the acting is so good you feel transplanted to the scene and you completely believe that you are there experiencing real events. This was our...continued

Great seats. Sat in the balcony. Really great show. Funny, smart and with lots of emotion. Great cast. Writing was really good. The show really gave you an interesting glimps of life during World War II in Napoli.

I was very disappointed, I thought I would receive tickets at will call (as Goldstar said) instead I was given a type of voucher and was told to go outside, stand in line, and wait for the House Manager to 'assign" our seats. There we were with...continued

It was a fascinating play set in a fascinating era with an amazing blend of humour and pathos. Seanna McKenna is a favourite of mine from Stratford (Canada), and it was a pleaure to travel only a few blocks to see her.

Napoli takes us on a journey into the WW2 times in Italy. It portrayed the characteristics of the people, the society in the genre. It was funny and quirky at times and was a good mix of humor and drama. The characters were well thought out played...continued

The first act was funny, the second act serious, but with a good message about what happened to the Neapolitans during World War II. Felt there were a little too many characters that impacted character development. Overall, we enjoyed the play.

I give the play itself mixed reviews.
Terrific set design & flow of characters in & out.
Needed more context setting to understand who the various characters were. Why didn't we ever see the...continued

Using Goldstar was perfect. The play itself was just ok. They didn't use microphones of any sort, so it was hard to hear the dialogue at times.
