This was one of the most amazing plays I've seen in a long time. Couldn't wait for part 2.

What a shame so few were in attendance for last evening's performance. The entire cast was spectacular, sensitively and adeptly portraying character's facing their deepest and innermost selves in the face of the AIDS crisis. This is not a play...continued

I didn't realize how long the show was going to be. At 11:30 we left during the second intermission. The actors did a really nice job, but it was just too long for a Friday night.

I had low-ish expectations of Angels in America - not because of my previous Emerson Umbrella experiences (which have been great) but because this is a formidable undertaking. And - my guest and I were both *very* impressed with this production....continued

A well acted look into the lives of two couples dealing with personal issues around sexual identities, commitment, and illness. Special effects used effectively. Fire alarm forced play interruption, but performers returned to scene interrupted...continued

Three hours was a long time in uncomfortable seats. Some of the language could have been changed and still got the points across.
I did not realize this was only part 1 and now wonder is part 2
going to be as long.

half an hour into the show fire alarm went off. We waited for about 20 minutes and then decided to go home, so we didn't see the rest of the show

I thought the technical aspects of the show were spot on. However, the acting was sometimes very difficult to believe. Harper, Louis, and Roy were very talented and believable while some of the rest of the cast struggled. It's just such a small...continued

Incredibly committed actors performed wonderfully. The only downside was that the theatre was not packed full – I mean this sincerely, because it was an incredible show and I wish could've been appreciated by many more.

And personally, I felt...continued

Play was really good. Difficult to sit for 3 1/2 hours on the theater's uncomfortable seats, but other than that it was definitely worth the $12.00 I paid for the ticket. Will go back in the fall for part 2.
