As an avid August Wilson fan I can be very particular about productions of his work. I must say, hands down, by far this is the truest portrayal I have ever seen. What a dream cast who leave EVERYTHING out on the stage for us, the patron. The...continued

The actors delivered a great performance. It was not their fault, but, I found the extensive use of the N word offensive and overused. I realize that's the way the play was written, but the version performed at the Round House Theater could have...continued

Ticket pickup with Goldstar receipt was quick and easy. Theater is very intimate; all seats are great. Show was extraordinary. Excellent actors who really engaged you with each character and took you through a series of real emotion. Loved it !!!

I usually have a lot of trouble with plays that are this long (3 hours), but this was really an excellent play. Interesting, funny, heartwarming. The actors were fantastic.

Wow. Can't say enough about how good this was. Set, direction, music, acting--all stellar. It should have an overflow crowd every night.

Fantastic show - best regional theatre performance i have seen in a while - and even better than an August Wilson Play I saw on Broadway. I love the way RoundHouse goes the extra mile. In the sitting room next to the theatre there is a photo...continued

Long first act (90 minutes) without much of a story. Some in the audience were falling asleep. I left at the intermission rather than sit through another 75 minutes.

Although I've never been to August Wilson play before, I thought the use of the N word was very concerning and over used. The play was longer than anticipated.
