He is hilarious! One of the best comedians I've seen. I laughed to tears. I highly recommend him.

Craig Shoemaker was fresh & funny and worth the wait. Unfortunatedly I cannot say anything good about the venue. We had dinner at the Canyon Club, so we could be guaranteed a seat. We found the meals overpriced, undercooked, and the wait...continued

Description

Craig Shoemaker was named Comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards, won two NATAS Emmy Awards and a Toastmaster Award, has performed at every major comedy venue in the country, and was seen by over two million people last year. Additionally, he had his own nationally syndicated radio show, which after only ten months on the air, won the prestigious Communicator Award “Crystal” prize, and has appeared in over 100 television shows – including Comedy Central Presents, ABC’s The View (where he was Joy Behar’s first guest in her Comedy Corner), HBO’s Comic Relief, Showtime’s Comedy All-Stars, and The Hollywood Squares with Whoopi Goldberg.

As an actor, Craig has played a lawyer on CBS’s Family Law, a priest in the movie Confession, and an FBI agent in the film Tripping Forward. He co-starred with Patrick Stewart in the film Safe House, was featured in the box office hit Scream 2, and starred in Dark Honeymoon opposite Daryl Hannah and Roy Scheider. His own movie The Lovemaster, won best film honors at the Independent Film Festival in Los Angeles and garnered rave reviews.

As a scribe, Craig wrote for ABC’s Just The Ten of Us and Real Funny, and last year he wrote and starred in the hit one-man show, Who’s Your Daddy? at the Coronet Theater in Los Angeles. Additionally, he has written two hit children’s books, now in their third printing, entitled What You Have Now…What Your Daddy Had Then and What You Have Now…What Your Mommy Had Then. Most recently, Craig, wrote, produced and starred in the film National Lampoon’s Totally Baked- A Potumentary-a movie which was conceived from his own son asking if he had ever smoked marijuana.

As a voiceover artist, Craig did several of his dead on impression of Don Knotts in the movie Pleasantville and has voiced many hit animated series including Teamo Supremo and I M Weasel.

His latest hit DVD entitled Craig Shoemaker Live: That’s a True Story was filmed live at the San Jose Improv Theatre and features 90 minutes of non-stop stand-up comedy. Additionally, his third CD, Lovemaster’s Greatest Hits, continues to sell tremendously well and his signature piece was named the number one comedy bit by a listener poll by over 2 million XM Radio subscribers.

Craig recently opened a comedy compound, The Laughter Store at 15140 Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks. The store, which Craig is CEO of, is a place to find all things in comedy from CDs, DVDs, books, cards, gag gifts, and posters and his charity foundation, LaughterHeals.org is the project closest to his heart. Feeling a need for more “medicine” for victims of cancer or other life threatening illnesses, Craig has launched this nonprofit organization in hopes of opening laughter centers throughout the world. His Laugh for Life Therapy book was written to assist others in finding humor to combat whatever ails you.
